The safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers is our priority. We encourage everyone to wear a face covering, use our hand sanitising stations and maintain physical distance where you can.

10am – 5pm daily (open Bank Holiday Mondays)
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to conduct bag searches when entering the museum.

Can I bring my dog?
St Fagans National Museum of History is happy to welcome trained assistance dogs, but we do not allow any other animals into the galleries, historic houses or the cafés.
Dogs are allowed in all other areas, but must be kept on short leads at all times.
Water bowls are provided at the museum entrance and by the cafés.
‘Pooper-scoopers’ are available on entering the Museum and we appreciate your co-operation in keeping the Museum clean and safe.
Attention
No ball games, bikes, scooters or wheeled toys etc are allowed on site.
Prams and pushchairs can only be taken into Oakdale Institute, St Teilo’s Church and Gwalia Stores.
No unauthorised flying of drones on site
Parking
If you are driving to St Fagans, you will have to pay for parking, £6 per day and can be paid by cash or card. FREE for disabled badge holders and motorbikes. £30 yearly ticket in advance. This charge is for parking only – entry to the Museum remains free. If you’re driving to the Museum, the entrances from St Fagans village and the A4232 will be open.
Eat, drink, shop
- Our cafés and restaurant will be open during your visit.
- The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
- You are welcome to bring a picnic to the Museum.

- Trip hazard on uneven paths and steps
- Slippery surface paths, slopes and grassed areas
