The Weaving Shed (which formally housed the commercial weavers Melin Teifi)
Melin Teifi are now retired, with the Weaving Shed building closed to the public while Amgueddfa Cymru carries out conservation and rearrangement work.
Amgueddfa Cymru has bought the machinery of Melin Teifi, in order to preserve traditional skills. We hope that in the future there will be an opportunity for visitors to watch our craftspeople use the machines to create flannel which will be available to buy in the Museum shop
The National Wool Museum is open as usual.
